A Kenton man was placed on community control after he was found guilty of drug-related charges in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Caleb C. Critchfield, 426 N. Main St., Kenton, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of drugs and three counts of trafficking in heroin in the vicinity of a school or a juvenile, with one of the charges being an aggravated count. Critchfield also pleaded guilty to one charge of trafficking in counterfeit controlled substances in the vicinity of a school or a juvenile, and in a second case against him, aggravated possession of drugs.

A Cincinnati man will be going to prison after he was caught red-handed stealing from a garage. According to Hardin County Common Pleas Court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Sabastian Edward Caudill, aka Sebastian Edward Caudill, forced his way into a garage owned by Dave Rigdon on Oct. 21 and began to move items.

John G. Preston, 5611 Ohio 81, Ada – speeding 30 mph in a 20 mph school zone, fined $150. Fined $25 for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone were: Heather K. Bickle, 1003 W. Carey St., Kenton; and Robert Elsasser, 328 Scott Ave., Kenton. Madison Ellis, Delphos – speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15. Adrian J. Gross, 702 Elm St., McGuffey – speeding 46 mph in a 25 mph zone, one prior offense, fined $85.

An Ada woman was placed on community control for five years after she admitted to stealing a credit card from the wallet of a car and going on a shopping spree for cigarettes and candy. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Angelica Lynette McClain, 714 S. Main St., Ada, found a wallet in the car of a parked car on S. Johnson Street, Ada. McClain removed the wallet from the vehicle and proceeded to the 302 Carryout, where she purchased $65.56 in candy and cigarettes.

Julie L. Freshcorn, 316 N. Leighton St., Kenton – speeding 39 mph in a 25 mph zone, fined $25. Fined $25 for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone were: Robyn L. Arnold, 431 N.
