A Mount Victory man was sent to prison for eight years after being found guilty of a felonious assault charge in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Stephen Arthur Beightler, last known address 225 N. Main St., Mount Victory, was found guilty in a jury trial after 20 minutes of deliberations.

Sara J. Hogan, Columbus – speeding 65 mph in a 55 mph zone, fined $15.

Lee M. Beidelschies, 803 Robinson Ave., Kenton – speeding 43 mph in a 25 mph zone, fined $25. Deana L. Henkel, Dublin – speeding 67 mph in a 55 mph zone, fined $65. Jade Michael Kekler, 8356 CR 115, Kenton – speeding 67 mph in a 55 mph zone, two prior offenses, fined $150.

A Forest man has been placed on community control for five years after he pleaded guilty to a drug charge in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's office, Keith Lee Sorrell Jr., 5399 Ohio 53, Forest, pleaded guilty to one charge of trafficking in drugs in the vicinity of a school or in the vicinity of a juvenile.

Natisha E. Jackson, 440 S. Walnut St., Dunkirk – speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $15. Crystal L. Boyle, 442 W. Kohler St., Kenton – speeding 47 mph in a 35 mph zone, fined $25. Daniel Riley Mason, 360 S. Main St., Mount Victory – speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone, one prior offense, fined $45.
