MARION — Continuing the centuries-old Chinese traditions of acrobatics, athleticism and colorful artistry, the Golden Dragon Acrobats are set to perform at the Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, March 8 at 7 p.m. The Palace is located at 276 W Center Street in downtown Marion.

FINDLAY — The University of Findlay Theatre Program will present its production of “Disney’s Newsies.” Show times at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts will be on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $12 at the center’s box office at 200 W. Main Cross St.

LIMA — Crafton Beck will lead the Lima Symphony Orchestra in a “A Heart’s Longing” on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center, Lima. The performance is devoted to the profoundly emotional works of Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky and features world-renowned violinist, Tai Murray.

BLUFFTON — The Bowling Green High School Drama Club will perform “Lily’s Wings” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 in Bluffton University’s Yoder Recital Hall. The award-winning drama troupe’s original play explores the manipulative world of human trafficking from the perspective of a young girl.

MARION — The band America, rock music’s top hit-maker of 1970s, is set to perform a live concert at the Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, Feb. 22 at 8 p.m. America’s founding members and long-time friends, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell, are entering their 49th year of making music together, touring the world, and thrilling audiences with their timeless sound.

ADA – The Department of Theatre Arts at Ohio Northern University will present the Choreographers’ Showcase Spring Dance Performance next month in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, and 2 p.m. on Feb. 3.

FINDLAY — Jay Owenhouse, a legendary escape artist and one of the most awarded illusionists in history, returns to Findlay for one night only in “Dare to Believe!”, an illusion spectacular. The performance will be on Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marathon Center.

FINDLAY – The Marathon Center for the Performing Arts is now accepting audition registrations for the 2018-2019 Spring Semester of the Hancock County Children’s Choir. It is a community-based treble voice children’s chorus open to all 2-5 grade children in the greater Hancock County area.

MARION — PBS sensation and classical-crossover artist, Annie Moses Band, known for their fiery string playing and soulful renditions of beloved American songs, are bringing their show to the Marion Palace Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m.

LIMA — The Lima Symphony Orchestra will present its New Year’s Eve concert, Dancing Queen: The Music of ABBA performed by Jean’s N Classics, on Monday, Dec. 31 at 7:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center.
