ONU to present ‘The Wild Party’

ADA – The Department of Theatre Arts of Ohio Northern University will present “The Wild Party” Oct. 18 through Oct. 21 in the Stambaugh Studio Theatre in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. each day, with 2 p.m. matinee performances on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21. The show is for mature audiences.

Forest UMC’s Homecoming Sunday to feature musicians

FOREST — Forest United Methodist Church will be celebrating Homecoming Sunday this Sunday, Oct. 7. Worship service will begin at 10 a.m. with a luncheon following. The afternoon program will begin at 12:30 p.m. Worship will be led by Pastor Doug Pummell, and will include Holy Communion. Soup and salad, along with favorite fall desserts will be the menu for the luncheon.

‘Messiah’ rehearsals to begin at Bluffton U.

BLUFFTON —Rehearsals for Bluffton University’s 123rd performance of Handel’s “Messiah” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 16-Dec. 4 in the Gilliom Room of Mosiman Hall on campus. Anyone interested in singing, from high school students to adults, is invited to join the chorus, which includes Bluffton students, faculty, staff and community members.
