ONU singers to present Christmas music show

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” featuring the ONU University Singers and the ONU Chamber Singers, at the First United Methodist Church on Sunday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

ONU wind, symphony orchestras to perform

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents “Gaudete: The It’s Not Quite Christmas Yet” concert, performed by the ONU wind and symphony orchestras, in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 7:30 p.m.

A Christmas Carol to be staged as live radio play

Cast members

The Hardin County Players will present A Christmas Carol as a live radio play during December. Performances are set for Thursday, Dec. 3 and Friday, Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m.; with matinees on Saturday, Dec. 5 and Sunday, Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. It will be staged in the upstairs ballroom at the Forbing Community Centre, 122 N. Main St., Kenton (next to the Armory).

Faculty recital Saturday at ONU

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Department of Music presents a faculty recital featuring Summer Aebker, soprano, in the Snyder Recital Hall in Presser Hall on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Tritt to perform concert in Lima

LIMA — Multi-instru-mentalist, vocalist, songwriter and Grammy-award-winning performer Travis Tritt will perform at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2016 at 8 p.m.

ONU choruses plan concert

ADA — The Ohio Northern University Men’s and Women’s Choruses will perform their fall concert in the Snyder Recital Hall of Presser Hall on Friday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
