Top showman The title of Showman of Showmen for the 2017 Hardin County Fair went to Cassidy Deckling of the Hardin Northern FFA. Participants consisted of the senior showmanship winners of each species at the fair. The winner was awarded $100, a lawn chair and a vase by the sponsors. Kenton drainage project advances Hardin County is moving forward with plans to improve the drainage and reduce flooding on the south side of Kenton. City and county officials met at the commissioners’ office Thursday morning to review the plans to bore under the railroad located near the corner of South Main Street (Ohio 31) and Letson Avenue (formerly Fairground Road).
