MOUNT VICTORY — The Ridgemont Public Library’s Book Club will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Mount Victory branch. Participants will discuss the book, Neil Armstrong: A Life of Flight by Jay Barbree. Copies of the book are available at the library.

‘Well Beyond 60! Expo’ to return on Senior Day at the Ohio State Fair

OLUMBUS — For the fifth consecutive year, the Ohio Department of Aging is partnering with the Ohio State Fair to sponsor the Well Beyond 60! Expo on the Fair’s Senior Day, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Expo is an interactive health and wellness fair that features nearly 3,000 square feet of health screenings, wellness demonstrations, and more provided at no cost by state and community partners. It is located in the fairgrounds’ Central Park area and is free to fairgoers with paid fair admission. Visitors age 60 and older enjoy $4 admission on Senior Day.

July has arrived! I just absolutely love July (and not just because it’s my birthday month). The entire month of July for me since childhood has always meant a time for vacation, spending a lot of time outdoors with family and friends, and pretty much participating in as many fun activities that you can squeeze into the day.

KHS class of ‘54 plans luncheon
