Two winners in Club 250

Kenton-Hardin County Soroptimist International congratulates Club 250 winner Amy Alt-Coan for week 23 and Jessica Hinson for week 24. They both will receive $100. Club 250 is a fundraiser that helps to award scholarships to local women and girls.

HN volunteers honored

HN volunteers

Hardin Northern Elementary recently paid tribute to the local volunteers who assist with the Project BEAR reading program at the school. The volunteers donated a total of 247 hours in the program and another 53 hours helping in classrooms for a total of 300 volunteer hours.

Hardin County students get Rhodes’ scholarships

LIMA – The 22nd Annual Rhodes State College Scholarship Awards reception was held April 10 in Keese Hall on the College’s campus with a record crowd of over 350 recipients, donors and guests. For the 2019 – 2020 academic year, the Rhodes State College Foundation has 154 scholarship awards totaling $158,268 to award to students. Over the past 19 years, the Foundation has awarded almost 2,000 scholarship awards to students totaling over $2.1 million through endowed and annual scholarships.

Help with technology offered at HN Library

DUNKIRK — Free tech help will be available at the Hardin Northern Public Library Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m. Chloe Noel can help with cell phones, tablets, lap tops ereaders and other devices. She can assist with technology & internet issues/questions, navigating websites, using Libby and Overdrive as well as setting up a free Hoopla account.
