COLUMBUS — Stayci Piper of Mount Victory, an Early Childhood Development and Education major, has been named to the 2018 Autumn Semester Dean’s List at Columbus State Community College. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be enrolled for six or more credit hours.

Two organizations offer spring painting class

Two Hardin County organizations – the Humane Society and Wolf Creek Art Center – are conducting a spring painting class on April 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Humane Society facility, located at 13510 U.S. 68 South, Kenton. The subject is daffodils against a light blue sky and framed by a 24" diameter grapevine wreath. It can be displayed indoors or on a porch.

No classes Friday at KCS

The Kenton City Schools will not be in session on Friday, March 22, which will be used for staff professional development, said Superintendent Jennifer Penczarski. Classes will resume on Monday, March 25.
