Kenton-Hardin County Soroptimist International congratulates Club 250 winner Patricia Cavell for week 37. She will receive $100. Club 250 is a fundraiser to help award scholarships to local women and girls so as to provide them education to lead to a better life and avoid abusive relationships.

Theresa (Henault) and Robert Caldwell Sr. of Mount Victory are celebrating their 50th anniversary. The couple were married Aug. 17, 1968 at Allen Center Baptist Church, Allen Center by the late Rev. E.F. Dana.

The 110th Der(r)inger Family Reunion was held on July 29 at the LaRue Community Park. Sixty-nine people attended with several individuals attending for the first time.

The Kenton Amateur Radio Club will meet on Monday, August 27 2018 at Henry’s Restaurant, 995 North Detroit Street, in Kenton. The meal and fellowship will be at 6 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m.

DUNKIRK — Free tech help will be available at the Hardin Northern Public Library Thursday from 1 - 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. - noon. Chloe Noel will assist individuals with technology and internet questions and/or issues, help with any device, social web sites, Microsoft Office, and much more.

MOUNT VICTORY — There will be a Victory Gospel summer concert from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21 at the Community Building, 234 N. Washington St., Mount Victory. Doors open at 4 p.m. Appearing will be Dave and Sharon Liles with Barb McCarre, One Voice, The Victory Gospel Singers and Musicians Band and Janet Moore.

Winners of the Kiddie Tractor Pull at the Ada Farmers and Merchants Picnic were announced on Saturday.
