The Memorial Park Bridge Club met on Wednesday, April 4 at the Pro Shop Annex. The hostess was Pat Ritchey and there were three tables in play.

Ada Monday – popcorn chicken with BBQ sauce, dinner roll, mashed potatoes with gravy, fruit.

The annual Easter egg hunt was held at the Wharton Park on Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. This event is sponsored by the former Grow 'n Learn Mothers Club and the Wharton Park Board.

ADA – Legal scholar Neil S. Siegel will discuss “Law is not enough” during a talk at noon April 13 in the moot courtroom (room 129) in the Ohio Northern University College of Law. Siegel is the David W. Ichel professor of law and professor of political science at Duke Law School.

The house is relatively quiet with several of the children taking naps and Elijah sleeping on my lap. Life certainly has been interesting these days.

BELLEFONTAINE — Kids Learning Place, located at 1973 Ohio 47 W., Bellefontaine, is now enrolling for its Head Start program for children ages birth to 5 years old in the Benjamin Logan, Bellefontaine and Indian Lake school districts.

The Kenton-Hardin Health Department has scheduled two blood pressure clinics on Monday morning in Kenton. The first one will be at the Hardin County Council on Aging from 10 to 11 a.m.

MOUNT VICTORY — Classic country music with the Pickin’ and Grinin’ Band will be featured Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Plaza Inn Jamboree, Mt. Victory. Genny Funk and Bob McPherson return after spending the past three months in Florida.

DUNKIRK — In observance of National Library Week, April 8-14, the Hardin Northern Public Library will have a sale of children's books, magazines and DVDs. The items will be for sale during regular library hours for a donation.
