Alger committee plans monthly breakfast

The Alger Memorial Festival Committee is sponsoring a country-style breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5 at the Alger Social Center on Main Street. On the menu are biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, fried apples, sausage patties and a beverage for a suggested donation of $7.

Quilt Squares meeting moved

Because of the Hardin County Fair, the Quilt Squares Quilt Club has rescheduled its monthly get- together at the Hardin Northern Community Center from Sept. 9 to Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. Anyone interested in quilts or the art of quilt making is welcome to attend.

BL FFA has social

The Benjamin Logan FFA Officers held an ice cream social on Aug. 17 for not only the new FFA members to get to know their officers, but for the current members to get to know the new freshmen.
