Hardin County Council on Aging enjoyed an evening with Elvis at La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro on Aug. 4.

A noon meal is served for people ages 60 and older at the Hardin County Council on Aging in Kenton, 419-673-1102, at 11:30 a.m. weekdays. Transportation and meal reservations are required 24 hours in advance.

Brittany Moe and Josh Hutchison were united in marriage at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Second Mile Farm in a rustic barn outside of Lima by Pastor Rick Schwartz. The bride is the daughter of Darron and Dawn Moe of Forest and the granddaughter of Darl and Kathy McNutt of Forest and Willis and Susy Moe of Kenton.

Plans for the Hardin County fair booth were finalized at the August meeting of the Democratic Central and Executive Committees. Members will meet at 10 am. Monday, Sept. 7 to prepare the booth for the opening of the fair the next day.

The Hardin County United Way will be holding its kick-off event at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 at St. John’s United Church of Christ. A continental breakfast will be available starting at 7 a.m.

Don and Marcella Woodard are celebrating their 73rd wedding anniversary. Donald and the former Marcella Windle of Forest were married Aug. 23, 1942 by Rev. Herber Pfeister at St. John’s Church in Kenton.
