Fire destroys vacant house A Sunday night fire that resulted in the total loss of a vacant structure at 216 W. Walnut St. in Kenton remains under investigation. Kenton Fire Department firefighters were dispatched to the structure, owned by Brian Berry, at 8:57 p.m. According to the report from the KFD, upon arrival, heavy fire and smoke were observed coming from the first and second story of the structure. Ada principal says teachers, coaches prepared him for career in education ADA — Prior to his move to the Ada School District, Middle School and High School Principal Dan Lee had never been a part of a K-12 system all under one roof. After spending time as an educator and administrator in South Carolina, Dan and his wife Brittany, also an educator originally from Columbus Grove, made the move back to Ohio to be closer to family.
