Students at Hardin Community School in Kenton listen to a career panel made up of representatives from area businesses on Friday morning. The career panel, put on by Hardin Community School and Big Brothers Big Sisters, allowed the representatives to talk about their careers and answer questions from the students.

Cano steps out of teaching career to become Hardin Northern principal

DOLA — Hardin Northern 7-12 principal Drew Cano, with the help of teachers and staff, has been working to change the cultural mindset of the current generation of students. Cano is in his first year at the position, taking the job after spending the previous 15 years teaching at the school where he had a daily interaction with students.
