Owners Dick and Melanie Hastings of Kenton Carpet Care LLC are celebrating their 20th year in business. They have been serving Kenton and the Hardin County area since October of 1996, providing professional carpet and upholstery cleaning, Roto-Brush air duct cleaning, and hardwood floor sanding and refinishing.

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 7 in its office at the Hardin County Courthouse to conduct a hearing to determine the eligibility of a petitioner to run as an independent candidate on the 2016 General Election ballot. The regular June board meeting will follow.

The Board of Directors of The Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton, Ohio announced the rebranding of the bank. According to President-CEO-Director Chuck Dixon the bank will be branded as HSLC.
