Roberts leads board at community school

Doug Roberts was elected board president of the Hardin County Community School during the board’s reorganizational meeting on Jan. 26. Eric Hoffman will serve as vice president. The board set its monthly meetings for the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:30 a.m. in the school’s board room at 400 Decatur St., Kenton.

Mayor updates council on meeting

DUNKIRK — Mayor Terry Cramer gave her report on the county-wide mayors meeting to the Dunkirk Council at its regular meeting Monday evening. Cramer informed council that at the meeting, the mayors heard from representatives of Swartz, a disaster cleanup company looking to work with the towns and villages in the county.

Beth A. McKinley joined The Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton on Jan. 19, 2016, as its Assistant Vice President-Office Manager. McKinley is a 27-year community banking veteran with expertise in data processing/bookkeeping, accounting, customer service, and office management.

Board meeting

The Hardin County Board of Elections will   meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3 in its office in the basement of the Hardin County Courthouse to conduct logic and accuracy testing on the voting equipment. The board will not have a regular meeting on Feb. 11.
