Heartbeat of Hardin County invites the community to come see the movie “Voiceless” on Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 1010 E Franklin St, Kenton.

The Women’s Choir from Cedarville University will present a concert at First Baptist Church on County Road 175, Kenton, on Sunday, March 12 at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

I hate this weather. As I write this, it is currently 62 degrees outside. It is a lovely spring day. Unfortunately, it is February. I have nothing against spring days. I just prefer my spring days to occur, you know, in spring.

FOREST — Heritage Christian Union Church, located at 15738 Ohio 37, Forest, will be continuing its 2017 Winter Concert Series at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26. Special music will be from “The Morse Family” from McComb.

The public is invited to a dinner and auction hosted by the Kenton Full Gospel Church at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Memorial Park Golf Course. Bring an item that is new or slightly used.

The parishioners of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church raised $400 during the annual Souper Bowl of Caring fundraiser for Kenton’s S.O.U.P. kitchen on the weekend of Feb. 4.

I am writing this on February 14 which is Valentine’s Day, the day dedicated to love. At the same time, I am seeing my friends sharing tongue in cheek posts about St. Valentine on Facebook reminding us that this patron of all lovers was beaten with clubs, beheaded and buried under the cover of darkness.

The Latter Rain Quartet will be appearing at Kenton Full Gospel Church at 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19. There is no cost for admission, and all are welcome.
