Walt Weiskopf Quartet at Bluffton

BLUFFTON — Tickets are available for the Bluffton University Artist Series performance by the Walt Weiskopf Quartet at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 in Yoder Recital Hall. Saxophonist, composer and author Walt Weiskopf has made an impressive mark as both a leader and sideman with over a dozen critically acclaimed albums and countless sideman credits.

Choral Collage concert set at ONU

ADA — Several Ohio Northern University choral groups will perform in the traditional Choral Collage concert at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 in the Presser Hall Snyder Recital Hall. The inaugural concert of the season will feature the Women’s Chorus, the Men’s Chorus, the University Singers and the Chamber Singers singing pieces by Mendelssohn, Thompson, Byrd, Rutter and others.

Food and football come together at Buckeye Bash

Area residents will have a chance to get their fill of food and football this evening on Kenton’s downtown square. The Buckeye Bash will feature 12 food trucks/trailers staged around the square for the tailgate portion of the festivities beginning at 5 p.m. Shortly after 8 p.m., the Ohio State-Wisconsin football game will be telecast under the stars on a jumbo screen.
