U.S. 68 traffic to be rerouted for 3 weeks Replacement of two culverts beginning Sept. 30 will impact traffic on U.S. 68 between Kenton and Dunkirk. According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, U.S. 68 between Township Road 40 and Ohio 701, south of Dunkirk, will close Monday, Sept. 30 for approximately three weeks for the projects. Kenton arsonist forgiven by family, but not legal system; gets 9 1/2 years in prison In the early morning hours of April 21, 2018, firefighters from throughout the area battled four blazes at once in the southwestern portion of Kenton. A vacant home and a mobile home were heavily damaged, but Gladys Adkins lost 48 years of memories when her home was totally destroyed.
