USV hires Jeffers to serve as elementary principal McGUFFEY — A veteran school administrator will be the elementary principal at Upper Scioto Valley. Christine Jeffers was approved by the USV Board of Education at its meeting on Monday evening. Smoky grease fire prompts R’dale closing MOUNT BLANCHARD — Students were evacuated and sent home after smoke from a small grease fire left the hallways of Riverdale School too smoky for students to return to classes Monday.
