Say yes to local business As a citizen of the city of Kenton, my initial response to the proposed Buck Township zoning change request was “I don’t have a dog in this fight”. But in retrospect, I think that attitude is short sighted. I have done some homework on the issue and it occurs to me that development in Buck Township impacts all of Hardin County. The prevalent attitude is that we want jobs, growth and for Hardin County to prosper, for schools, services and roads to improve. R’dale board approves firm to manage food service MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale Board of Education agreed to enter into a one-year food service management contract with Nutrition Food Group during its monthly meeting on Monday night. Kenton to spend $40,000 on elevator repairs Repair of the elevator at the Kenton Municipal Building will cost nearly $40,000, it was announced at the City Council meeting on Monday night. The elevator, which has been out of service for two weeks, will be repaired by Davis and Newcomer Elevator Co., Arcadia, for $39,700.
