Census Bureau seeks help of city in 2020 count A worker with the Census Bureau is enlisting the help of Kenton officials in encouraging residents to participate in the 2020 census. Cheryl Kellogg, partnership specialist with the Census Bureau, said Kenton had a 79 percent response rate to the 2010 census. Since census figures are tied to government funding, it is estimated each unreported resident cost Kenton more than $1,000 annually over the past 10 years, she reported at Monday’s City Council meeting. Howard Henderson said had a nervous breakdown and was drinking on Jan. 12 when he called a veterans crisis line because he was contemplating suicide. USV financial report unchanged since Oct. McGUFFEY — The financial future of the Upper Scioto Valley School District has changed little since the last five-year forecast was approved in October, said Treasurer Stacy Gratz. Her report to the board shows USV ending the current fiscal year with a carryover of $5,255,206. Gratz's forecast shows the district spending more than it brings in through revenue sources starting in 2021 with no revenue added. Read More
