Alger council advances legislation to give land for construction of fire station ALGER — The Alger council took action to open the way for the construction of a new fire station at its meeting on Monday. The new structure would be built directly south of the existing building, but would be located on an alley. Police, sheriff reports: May 7, 2019 An officer was dispatched to 304 1/2 W. Franklin St. in reference to a domestic violence incident. Upon investigation, it was learned that an assault did take place between the two sisters. The suspect, Tiffany A.
