Police reports: March 18, 2019 Friday A vehicle was left abandoned on city property at Wharton Park. On March 11, the tires were chalked. On March 15, the vehicle had not been moved, therefore it was impounded as abandoned. A report was received of an assault at Kenton High School. Read More
County, state hope to work with area Amish to make country roads safer State Rep. Jon Cross presented amendments to the Ohio transportation bill this spring which would have adopted statewide regulations for animal-pulled vehicles, such as Amish buggies. The new regulation proposed by Cross stated, " No person shall operate an animal-drawn vehicle in this state on any public road or highway unless the animal-drawn vehicle is registered in accordance with rules adopted under this section." Senior Bingo Harco Industries sponsored its second annual Senior Lucky Bingo luncheon at its Kenton facility on Friday. Senior citizens from throughout Hardin County celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with games and prizes donated by area businesses and supporters.
