Income study helps Forest land more funds FOREST — A study contracted by Forest with Poggemeyer Design Group of Bowling Green didn't result in securing grant funding for the village, but more than paid for itself in other projects. Village Administrator Wes Davis said Thursday night the study was based on income levels in the village, but didn't meet the threshold of eligibility for the program. Missing Logan Co. teen believed to be in Kenton The Logan County Sheriff’s Office said a missing teen from East Liberty is believed to be in Kenton. Tanner Walls, 17, of 3057 Ohio 292, East Liberty, left his residence earlier this week. His mother, Tiffany Walls, 42, discovered him missing Sunday 6 a.m., according to the sheriff’s office. Court rejects appeal of area music teacher’s sex crimes conviction A former area school music teacher has lost his appeal of a decision in Hardin County Common Pleas Court which found him guilty of sex crimes and identified him as a sexual offender. Dennis Dellifield, who had been a music teacher in the Allen East School District for more than 40 years, was charged and convicted of two felony counts of attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance. Police reports: December 13, 2018 An employee of Walmart reported observing two suspects, one male and one female, in the store who were both suspects of previous thefts from the store. The employee observed the male suspect conceal merchandise inside his clothing. When the female suspect saw the employee, she quickly walked out of the store. It was noticed that the coat the female was wearing appeared to be stuffed full of merchandise as she left. She went into the parking lot and got into the passenger side of a gray or silver pickup truck. Read More
