Health agency running out of room, eyes move to old doctors’ office Facing a squeeze on office space at the Hardin County Courthouse Annex, the Kenton-Hardin Board of Health is asking commissioners to consider a new home for the agency. Health department representatives proposed that the county purchase the former doctors’ office on North Main Street in Kenton, which was last used as a temporary home for the Community Health Partners. Elections board looks into replacing voting machines Ohio is looking at possibly replacing the voting machines throughout the state and the Secretary of State’s Office is requiring local boards of elections to meet with their county commissioners to determine the cost of such a purchase. Two drug cases top action in Hardin County Common Pleas Court A Kenton man was placed on community control for five years after he pleaded guilty to drug charges in two cases heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, John. D. Shiver, 703 S. Wayne St., was found guilty to once count each of trafficking in marijuana, possession of heroin and aggravated possession of drugs. Read More
