The Ada Public Library is the greatest! I stop by at least once a week to update my movie selection and reading material. Through the library's website adalibrary.org, I can easily order movies and books from over 100 other libraries,allowing me to get items that the Ada library doesn't own. Along with popular titles, it’s surprising how many old and obscure films are available!

I went to the library today. It was Monday. I met with a small group that was planning a meeting. When we finished our planning, I joined the Forest High School alumni group who were having coffee in the kitchen. After that group disbanded for the day, I went to the main library to return the books I had finished reading. On my way, I passed the Patterson Village Council having their meeting.

Beautiful Monarch butterflies will be migrating through Ohio over the next 6 weeks. They rely on milkweed and flowers, often found on grassy roadsides. By waiting to mow roadsides until the end of September, we can help them survive.

To the editor: I am sickened by the mass killings in the United States. I read that our current Senator – Rob Portman – stated that there is "something deeper" behind the mass killings that recently occurred in Texas and Ohio.
