Hypocrisy this election cycle

Donald Trump's words have always been noxious, but his recently released comments are beyond the pale. Quick to forgive one of their own though, polls show that Republicans are overwhelming willing to pardon their presidential candidate's boasts about sexually assaulting women.

Support Ada Library tax levy

Have you visited the Ada Public Library recently or used their user-friendly website? At the library, you and your family have opportunities for free Wi-Fi, free computer usage, free notary service, voter registration, and excellent programs for babies through adults, including book discussions for tweens and adults.

Great job of watering

I don’t live in Kenton or Hardin County, but wanted to say someone has been doing a great job watering the hanging baskets and corner flowers as they are as beautiful as any gardens. I have been looking at the flowers before the rains came and it was very dry.

‘Summerail’ in Marion

A national railroaders event normally held in Cincinnati will be held in downtown Marion Aug. 12-13. It is called “Summerail.” Multi-media video programs will be shown in the beautiful Palace Theatre on Saturday from 1-10 p.m., with time out for dinner.
