Man sent to prison for burglaries A Napoleon man was sent to prison for four years after he admitted to two counts of burglary in a case heard in Hardin County Common Pleas Court. Forest will consider change in charges for water leaks FOREST — The Forest council will take a look at the way it charges residents for leaks in their water service. MV council accepts infinity path grant MOUNT VICTORY — The Mount Victory Village Council approved accepting the gift of a new portion of walking path at the park from the village’s Community Improvement Corporation on Thursday night. Peggy Harrison of the CIC told council of a $2,500 donation it had received from America’s Farmers Grow Communities to use toward the replacement of part of the path. Read More
ODOT agrees to install rumble strips before 273/292 The persistence of a concerned citizen was heard by the Ohio Department of Transportation and Wednesday morning the agency agreed to install safety devices at what the community considers to be a dangerous intersection. ODOT District I Director Kurt Slusher announced his agency will install rumble strips on Ohio 273 to warn motorists of the stop sign ahead at Ohio 292, about a mile north of Ridgeway. Read More
