Found in Kenton attic, family reunited with dad’s service uniform, plaque In the 19 years since their father’s passing, sisters Marilyn Holland and Deb Hamilton had just assorted pictures to remember him. Kentonite gets nine years for assault A Kenton man was sent to prison for nine years after he pleaded guilty in Hardin County Common Pleas Court to being part of a group of men who invaded a Kenton home and beat the inhabitants. According to court records from Prosecutor Brad Bailey’s office, Ashton Dale Mundy, 139 E. Railroad Street, pleaded guilty to one count each of aggravated burglary and felonious assault with a firearm specification in the Sept. 28, 2017 invasion of Darrian Lease’s home on North Main Street. Mayors seeks county’s help in complying with EPA order Municipalities from across Hardin County are dealing with new state requirements to take inventory of their water systems and report those findings to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. The cities and villages have until October to report when each hydrant, valve and other parts of their water treatment system were purchased and assure the OEPA there would be money available to replace the part if it should fail 10 years into the future.
