Third Amish home condemned by board A third Amish family’s home was condemned Tuesday by the Kenton-Hardin Board of Health, but the order was postponed until after the holidays. Ada council OKs purchase of tractor for wastewater plant ADA — The wastewater treatment plant in Ada is set to replace its 20-year-old utility tractor, with council approving the purchase of a new one by utilizing funds received from AEP rebates. At a previous council meeting, Village Administrator Jamie Hall had made mention of needed funds to repair the current tractor, which is used to move pressed sludge from pressing to storage, and then to the container for removal. Ada man injured in Hancock County crash Two drivers, including an Ada man, were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Hancock County on Tuesday morning. Wind turbines to start going up on Upper Scioto farm land It has taken about ten years for them to arrive, but construction on the wind turbines to be located on the Upper Scioto Valley farm land is slated to begin this week, according to Superintendent Mike Kis. The school leader reported to his board of education Monday night that Kent Truckor, Senior Manager for Business Development at Invenergy, contacted the school and announced crews are prepared to start building the turbines.
