County voters to decide fate of 9-1-1 renewal levy Voters from throughout Hardin County will vote on the future of the county’s 9-1-1 system this fall. The funding for the system is up for a renewal for another five years on the Nov. 7 ballot. Read More
Hite apologizes for ‘inappropriate’ actions involving statehouse worker FINDLAY — Former Ohio Sen. Cliff Hite has publicly apologized for inappropriate actions and comments to a female statehouse employee. Roads opening and closing The Hardin County Engineer’s Office announced it has reopened County Road 90 between Ohio 235 and County Road 45 after it was closed for culvert replacement. Ada pool renovations progressing, but not as fast as hoped, administrator ADA — The Ada pool project is progressing, according to Village Administrator Jamie Hall, but a number of recent change orders have come up requiring extra expenses. During Hall’s report to council, there have so far been three official change orders approved: a $1,200 for masonary issues, $200 to change the 8-foot wide gates to 10 feet, and $200 to fix a found welding issue.
