Kenton High School senior Rachel Scarberry accepts the Born Tire Center Award in memory of Jean Born from Bobbi Fee of the Dollars For Scholarships program during the annual Senior Awards Day program on Tuesday. The seniors were awarded $106,735 in scholarships through various community sources.

Ending the year

The 50-plus First United Methodist Christian Preschool students in Kenton celebrated the end of their school year with a music program and graduation ceremony on Monday. The theme of the program was ‘Under the Sea.’ Students’ artwork was on display during a punch and cookie reception after the program.
