Pair of Kentonites first at Elks State Soccer Shoot Two Kenton girls were crowned champions at the Ohio Elks State Soccer Shoot, held July 27 at Kids America Sports Complex in Coshocton. Abby Schlegel took first place in girls Under 8 and Ruby Styer was first in the girls Under 14 brackets. Both earned the right to compete against youngsters from six states at the Elks Mid-Atlantic Regional Soccer Shoot in March, 2020 in York, Pennsylvania. Read More

Class of ‘89 holds 30th reunion The Kenton High School class of 1989 celebrated its 30-year reunion on Saturday, July 13. A total of about 86 people attended, including 50 classmates and seven teachers. The weekend celebration included a karaoke DJ and tennis on Friday night. On Saturday, classmates enjoyed golf and classmate Chris Deever was the DJ for the reunion. Read More

On July 22, Brett began his first official day on the job as Kenton’s athletic director.
