MOUNT BLANCHARD — Trailing Riverdale by three runs after four innings, Arcadia scored two runs in the fifth inning and three more in the seventh to rally for a 6-4 Division IV sectional championship over the Falcons on Thursday afternoon.

The former Henry's Restaurant at the north edge of Kenton on U.S. 68 is set to be the location of a Raphie's restaurant. Rob Armstrong, of Bennett Enterprises, announced Thursday the company has signed a lease on the building and will open the firm’s eighth Ralphie’s restaurant at the North Detroit Street location.

Crane removes a worn out air conditioner and furnace from the roof of the Hardin County Armory in Kenton on Wednesday. It was installed in 2000, the same year the existing front roof was built.

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta pitcher Brady Erb tossed a one-hitter and the Redskins found their swing in the late innings on the way to a 7-1 victory over the Wildcats in a sectional semifinal baseball contest on Wednesday afternoon.

The Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes met on May 6 in the Hardin Northern Ag Building. For recreation the members played kickball. The meeting was led by Vice President Aiden Gatchell. Hardin Hi-Lighters 4-H Club met Thursday, May 2 at the Greenwood Grange Hall in Grant. President Sam Thacker called the meeting to order. Pledge of Allegiance was led by Derek Courtad and the 4-H pledge by Mia Benitez. Roll call was answer by something they want to do over the Summer. Treasurer Abi Mustain asked that all members pay their fees by the next meeting.
