Soroptimists honor R’mont student, hear from U.N. visitor The Kenton/Hardin County Soroptimist Club met Thursday, April 4 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Kenton. President Laura Ferguson called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. with a welcome of 26 members in attendance plus 3 guests. Kenton Elks 157 team wins Ohio Ritualistic Competition The Kenton Elks 157 ritual team was named state winner for the Ritualistic Competition during the weekend at the 121st Ohio Elks Convention. With the high team score of 98.416, Kenton advances to the national competition at the 151st Grand Lodge Convention in St. Louis, Missouri on June 30 through July 3. Read More

Medical center expands services for women The Kenton Medical Center is expanding its services in Hardin County to better fit the needs of women. The center, located at 1211 E. Columbus Street, has offered family practice and walk-in services since it opened its Kenton urgent care office. Read More
