Hardin Northern was recognized by Friday Night Football Coaches Magazine for having the best team moms in the country. Presented during halftime of Friday night’s game against Upper Scioto Valley, it was announced that Hardin Northern won the 2018 FNF Team Moms Contest, sponsored by BUBBA Burger.

Isaiah Savage, Rebecca Bash and Madisen Jolliff brought home honors from the national FFA convention this week in Indianapolis. Savage’s science project which uses artificial neural networks to predict precipitation was named third in the nation. The Kenton football team did its part to try and make one final push to get into the playoffs on Friday night. Unfortunately it looks like it was not enough for the Wildcats. After a 41-13 victory over Bath, all the Wildcats can do is wait and see where the chips fall from the other games the Wildcats needed to go their way if they are to finish in the top eight in region 14.

Rams rally past HN 22-13

DOLA — With the defense on lockdown in the second half, Upper Scioto Valley’s offense went to work, scoring 16-straight points to rally past Hardin Northern for the 22-13 win in Friday night’s season finale. The win gives the Rams a final record of 3-7 overall, 2-5 in the Northwest Central Conference. The Polar Bears finish 4-6, 3-4.
