Blooms receive Mayor’s Trophy at WOAL championship The Bloom family of Kenton was recognized with the Mayor’s Award at the Western Ohio Aquatic League swim meet this past weekend. The award has been presented annually since 1975 by the members of the WOAL to a person or persons that had shown a spirit of volunteerism and dedication to the activities of the Lima area swim programs, including not only the summer W.O.A.L., but high school, YMCA and U.S.A./Lima Area Team activities as well.
