The seniors at the Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center had a dessert party in celebration of the arrival of autumn.

The Hardin County Council on Aging enjoyed a great trip to the Black Hills, touring Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse and many other interesting sites.

The Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center took a trip to Der Dutchman in Plain City for lunch. The seniors enjoyed good weather, great food and shopping in the bakery and gift shop.

Hardin County Council on Aging had a hat contest. Sharon Lowery had the best hat.

Kenton-Hardin County Soroptimist International participated in the parade for the Ada Harvest and Herb Festival on Saturday. Not only did the club celebrate the festival, but also celebrated the Kenton-Hardin County Soroptimist International 50th year membership of Eve Johnson-Timmons.

Next week’s menu includes the following: Monday – sloppy joes, potato salad, peaches, drink. Tuesday – pizza, chips, Italian ice, drink.

Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center resident Terri Lansdown got a nice treat at the Hardin County Fair. A boy who had just finished showing his rabbit stopped and let her pet it.

The Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center had a Labor Day party. The seniors played Labor Day trivia and had root beer floats.

Joe Dulin, a resident of Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center, proudly shows off his veterans canvas photo. His family purchased this for him. Activity staff also took him for a country ride and stopped at the Dairy Queen and showed him where his banner is hanging at the hilltop traffic signal.
