The Mobility Foundation announces a partnership with Ada Physical Therapy to offer A.I.M. (Aiming for Independence and mobility) classes to the public. The six-week program is free.

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Department of Aging’s STEADY U Ohio initiative is celebrating the month of September as Falls Prevention Awareness Month and inviting all Ohioans to help them take “10 Million Steps to Prevent Falls” to raise awareness of the prevalence of older adult falls and the simple things we can all do to remove hazards and reduce risk.

The seniors at the Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center took a lunch outing to the Old Barn Out Back in Lima.

The seniors at the Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center had a melon party where they learned about watermelon facts. They ate watermelon and muss melon.

The seniors at the Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center had a cupcake bakeoff. They made and decorated cupcakes.

Resident Joey Harvey of Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center aims at his target while throwing a bean bag at the resident corn hole game. They enjoy playing outside with regular-sized boards so much that the activity staff had to get a smaller set for the table for when it is too humid outdoors.

Residents (Lunch Bunch) at Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center had two meal outings recently. They dined at (above) Henry’s Restaurant in Kenton. The previous week they traveled to Texas Roadhouse in Lima.
