The Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center held its Volunteer Appreciation Celebration on April 16 with 21 volunteers in attendance. The event included the presentation of certificates of appreciation, a make-your-own sundae bar, a grab bag auction and door prizes for each in attendance.

Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center residents have fun at the monthly birthday party. They were served cupcakes and punch and entertained by Happy Daz Entertainment.

James Danner of rural Kenton will be celebrating his 90th birthday on Saturday, April 21. Friends are invited to help him celebrate by dropping off a card, visiting or giving him a call.

Kenton Nursing and Rehab residents celebrating a birthday in March were treated to a special surprise at the monthly birthday party when resident Kathleen Strahm’s family joined Kathleen for her birthday. The family provided cupcakes and hand-knit Easter baskets to all the residents in attendance and presented roses to the 12 residents celebrating a birthday in March.

Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center’s annual Easter egg hunt was held on Thursday, March 29, complete with a visit from the Easter bunny (Sonya Petty), refreshments, candy and prizes. The winners of the grand prize certificates were (from left) David Brayden Young, Brylee Hennison and Dakota Hale-Adkins.
