Scarf exercise is a great way to get Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center residents stretching and moving as (from left), Elenor Clawson, Darlene Black, Janette Rofe, Juanita Deringer, Mary Mulligan, Everett Kahley and Joan Ledley found out. The residents moved to the relaxing music and some found muscles they didn’t know they had.

Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center residents prepare for the annual Easter Egg Hunt by filling plastic eggs all week. The residents really enjoy this event and work very hard at it. Although they know it’s over in one minute, they can’t wait to see the kids’ faces.

The Hardin County Council on Aging Senior Center hosted an Antiques Roadshow of its own. Lavonne Eastman of Mount Victory appraised various items brought in, including an 1803 sampler brought in by Melanie and John Johnson.

Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center residents enjoyed a special treat when Julia Storer, “Nails by Julia,” a manager/nail technician, gave the ladies creative manicures just in time for Easter.

Residents at Hardin Health and Rehab enjoy an afternoon pizza party. During the chilly season, Activity staff orders in pizza for the residents. They ordered from Jimmy’s Pizza this time.

The Sunshine preschoolers came to visit residents at Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center. They gave each resident a handmade spring decoration.

The Mennonite youth choir came in to sing at the Hardin Hills Health and Rehab Center while residents were eating lunch.

Wilkerson-McVitty-Berlien Adult Day Care residents went for a country ride and a stop at the Dunkirk Dairy Dream. Enjoying their frozen treats are Ethel Kissling and Barb Brown.

March 13 was Learn About Butterflies Day at the Kenton Nursing and Rehab Center. Resident Connie Snyder agreed to share her collection and fun facts about butterflies with residents and staff.
