Ada moves to 2-0 in NWC

HARROD — Ada improved to 2-0 in Northwest Conference volleyball play with a 26-24, 25-16, 25-15 win over Allen East on Thursday. The Bulldogs, who were led at the net by Megan Light’s 12 kills and 5 blocks, improve to 7-4 overall.

BL spikers get sweep

BELLEFONTAINE — Ben Logan swept Graham 25-19, 25-16, 25-23 in a Central Buckeye Conference volleyball match on Thursday night. Sarah VanDyke led the charge for the Raiders with 11 kills, 5 aces and 3 blocks, while Molly Vance tallied 12 kills.

Wapak top Lady ‘Cats

WAPAKONETA — Wapakoneta defeated Kenton in four games 25-16, 15-22, 19-25, 25-23 in a Western Buckeye League volleyball match on Thursday. No other information was received from the match. Kenton travels to Lima Senior on Tuesday.

Kenton girls tennis gets past Bluffton 3-2

BLUFFTON — Kenton won the top two singles matches and split the doubles matches to claim a 3-2 win over Bluffton in a non-league girls tennis matchup on Wednesday. At No. 1 singles, the Wildcats’ Mykaela Schriber topped Bluffton’s Erin Hotmire 6-3, 6-2; while in the No, 2 match it was Kelsey Flowers over Olivia Barnes 6-4, 6-0.
