Crestview dominates Ada

ADA — The host Ada Bulldogs were unable to match up with Crestview in Friday night’s boys basketball contest, taking the 80-38 Northwest Conference loss. The Bulldogs drop their ninth-straight game to fall to 2-11 overall, 1-2 in the NWC. The Knights climb to 9-3 and sit unbeaten in the league with a 4-0 mark.

Lady Wildcats take over in 2nd half

Looking for two

Trailing by three points at halftime, the Kenton Wildcats knew they were going to have to buckle down on the defensive end of the floor if they were going to beat St. Marys on Thursday night. The Wildcats did just that and it sparked a 15-2 run at the end of the third quarter and beginning of the fourth frame that allowed them to take control on the way to a 64-52 victory over the visiting Roughriders.

Falcons fall to Leipsic

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Leipsic outscored Riverdale in each of the first three quarters on the way to a 58-40 victory over the host Lady Falcons in Blanchard Valley Conference girls basketball action on Thursday night.
