Area churches plan Christmas Eve services

Area churches have announced Christmas Eve services, as follows:
Kenton
Central Church of Christ – 6 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve candlelight service.
Epworth United Methodist Church – 11 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve service.
First Baptist Church of Kenton – 7 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve candlelight service.
First Christian Church – 11 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve service.
Kenton First United Methodist Church – 7 p.m. Sunday, Christmas “Eve” Eve service; special music, carol singing, message by Pastor Loran Miracle and candlelight service. 4 p.m. Monday, Family Christmas Eve service; drama presentation, Sunday School Christmas program presentation, bring canned food for the Neighborhood Center and monetary donations for the church’s Helping Hands fund. 11 p.m. Monday, Traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve service (preceded at 10:45 p.m. by bell prelude); lessons, carols and anthems brought by the Chancel Choir and Bell Choir, ending with the traditional lighting of candles in the shape of the cross.
Immaculate Conception Church – 5:30 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve Mass. 11:30 p.m. Monday, Christmas music; 12 a.m. Tuesday, Midnight Mass; 10 a.m. Tuesday, Christmas Day Mass.
Our Savior’s Lutheran Church – 5:30 p.m. Monday, celebration of Christ’s birth with Holy Communion.
St. John’s United Church of Christ – 8 p.m. Monday, Contemporary Christmas Eve Candlelight service; 11 p.m. Monday, Traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
Trinity United Presbyterian Church – 7 p.m. Monday, Candlelight Christmas Eve service with Communion.
Walnut Grove United Methodist Church – 7 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve service.
Dunkirk
Bridgeport Church, County Road 60, 1 1/2 miles east of U.S. 68 – 11 p.m. Monday, the church will offer a service of music, carols, candle light and a dramatic presentation of “Voices of Advent.” Friends and neighbors are invited to “see in” Christmas together in a tranquil time of remembering and experiencing the true reason for the season – the anticipation and celebration of the birth of the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ the Messiah. The church at Bridgeport offers this service as a means to quiet our souls, recover hope and rest in the extreme love of God which took the simple form of a newborn baby. The service will conclude at midnight with the ringing of the bell to announce the beginning of Christmas Day.
Forest
Forest United Methodist Church – 8 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve Candlelight service.
Forest Community – 11 p.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, Community Candlelight service. The bell choir also will be performing.
Williamstown
Williamstown First Brethren Church – 6 p.m. Monday, Christmas Eve service.
