Community Lenten Services begin Sunday

The Kenton Community Lenten Services will begin Sunday at 6 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, 457 S. Detroit St.
The speaker will be Pastor Loran Miracle of First United Methodist Church. Special music will be by St. John’s United Church of Christ.
The rest of the Lenten services series is as follows:
– March 16 at 6 p.m., Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 301 W. Columbus St. The speaker will be Pastor Dave Dooley of the Church of the Nazarene. Special music will be by New Hope Fellowship.
– March 23 at 6 p.m., Payne Chapel AME Church, 437 N. Market St. The speaker will be Pastor Jason Manns of New Hope Fellowship Church. Special music will be by the Payne Chapel Liturgical Dancers.
– March 30 at 6 p.m., First United Methodist Church, 234 N. Main St. The speaker will be Pastor Tomas Pistora of Trinity United Presbyterian Church. Special music will be by Society Singers.
– April 6 at 6 p.m., First Baptist Church, 11543 CR 175. The speaker will be Pastor Craig Mansfield of First Baptist. Special music will be by Daughters of Hope Dance.
– April 13 at 6:30 p.m., St. John’s United Church of Christ, 211 E. Carrol St. The worship leader will be Pastor R. Scott Johnson of St. John’s. The program will be by the Kenton High School Chorale under the direction of Sue Buroker.
The offerings each Sunday will be distributed equally among the following local missions: Love INC, Neighborhood Opportunity Center, S.O.U.P. kitchen, Heartbeat, New Hope Ministry Park and Helping Hands Outreach.
