Community Lenten Services planned

Kenton Community Lenten Services will be featured at different churches in the community on Sunday afternoons over the next six weeks.
All services will begin at 4 p.m.
The first service will be Sunday at First United Methodist Church, 340 N. Main St. The speaker will be Pastor Loran Miracle of First United Methodist. Special music will be provided by the First United Methodist Praise Band.
The other weekly services are as follows:
Feb. 24 – Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 301 W. Columbus St. The speaker will be Pastor John Dyer from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Special music will be by the Payne Chapel Singers.
March 3 – First Christian Church, 340 N. Main St. The speaker will be Pastor Dave Dooley of the Church of the Nazarene. Special music will be by the First Baptist Church Choir.
March 10 – First Reformed United Church of Christ, 313 W. Columbus St. Speaker will be Pastor Steve Walter of Epworth United Methodist Church. Special music will be by the St. John’s United Church of Christ Kids Choir.
March 17 – Church of the Nazarene, 113 Jacob Parrott Blvd. The program will be by the First United Methodist Church Drama Team. Special music will be by the Society Singers.
March 24 – St. John’s United Church of Christ, 211 E. Carrol St. The worship leader will be Pastor Neil Partington of St. John’s UCC. The program will be by the Kenton High School Chorale under the direction of Sue Buroker.
The local missions supported through the Kenton Community Lenten Services are New Hope Ministry Park, Helping Hands Outreach Ministries, Love INC, Neighborhood Opportunity Center, S.O.U.P. and Heartbeat of Hardin County.
