Gospel singer Tom Shelton will present a concert at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2 at Flat Branch Church of Christ, 6435 CR 130, Kenton.
Over the last 30 years, Shelton has shared his music with thousands. An Indiana native, he was inducted into “Who’s Who in American Music” in 1977. That same year he joined the touring group, “General Delivery USA.”
Since then he has traveled as the lead singer for the “Gospelites” of Dobbins, Calif., as well as a tenor with the “Watchmen” of “Operation Evangelize.” He is now a soloist.
He and his wife Shannon spent two years in the Caribbean and in South America as cruise directors for New Creation World Wide Christian Cruises.
Shelton has served in four separate congregations in the development of music and youth programs.
The public is invited and refreshments will be available after the concert.
