COMMON PLEAS COURT
JUVENILE DIVISION
The following juvenile cases were heard in April, 2012 by Judge James S. Rapp in the Juvenile Division of the Hardin County Court of Common Pleas. Terms of probation/community control, may include: Psychological/Drug/Alcohol/Family Assessment, counseling; 9 p.m. curfew or house arrest. Court costs are assessed in all cases.

An 18-year-old male, for probation violation (theft of ipod and possessing camera phone), court ordered: 10 days detention, 25 hours public service, restitution, written apology to victim, fined $50, and complete MRI successfully.
A 12-year-old female, for disorderly conduct, court ordered: 10 days detention, intensive probation, 48 hours public service, restitution, written apology to victim, fined $120, counseling, and complete Treatment Court.
A16-year-old male, for probation violation (breaking house arrest), court ordered: 30 days detention, house arrest, no contact with named juvenile, no trespassing at Forest Court Apartments, 24 hour public service, and fined $60.
A 16-year-old male, for probation violation (contact with probationer), court ordered: no contact with named juvenile, 8 hours public service, and written apology to victim.
A 15-year-old male, for petty theft, court ordered: 48 hours public service, written apology to named individual, and fined $120.
A 14-year-old male, for juvenile tobacco offender, court ordered: Fined $50.
A 17-year-old male, for truancy, court ordered: basic probation, and 8 hours public service.
A 12-year-old male, for habitual disobedience, court ordered: no contact with named juvenile, intensive probation, 24 hours public service, written apology to parents, psychiatric evaluation, and continue counseling.
A 16-year-old female, for disorderly conduct, court ordered: 16 hours public service, and fined $30.
A 17-year-old for truancy, court ordered: 8 hours public service.
A 16-year-old female, for probation violation (underage consumption), court ordered: 10 days detention, 16 hours public service, fined $30, and continue counseling.
A 16-year-old male, for probation violation (contact with probationer), court ordered: 30 days detention, intensive probation, 16 hours public service, fined $30, and continue counseling.
Traffic Cases
The following traffic cases were heard in April, 2012, by Judge James S. Rapp in the Hardin County Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division. The maximum fine in Juvenile Court for most traffic violations is $50. Car Teens is a one evening 4-H driving safety program (fee $10). Court costs average $103 for a non-moving vehicle violation and $136 for a moving vehicle violation. Court costs are set by statue and are assessed in all cases unless otherwise noted:
Grant Sherman, 16, for stop sign violation and seatbelt violation/driver, court ordered: carteens, 30-day license suspension, and fined $65.
Lakota Breece, 16, for failure to control, court ordered: carteens, 30-day license suspension, and fined $35.
Tony Biederman, 18, for seatbelt violation/passenger, court ordered: Fined $20.
Skye T. Vanatta, 17, for speeding 68/55 mph zone, court ordered: carteens, 30-day license suspension, and fined $21.
Arielle A. Rexroad, 17, for speeding 85/65 mph zone, court ordered: carteens, 60-day license suspension with work and school privileges, and fined $35.
Shay Sams, 17, for stop sign violation, court ordered: carteens, 89-day license suspension with work and school privileges, and fined $50.
Abigail Krouse, 17, for speeding 70/55 mph zone, court ordered: carteens, 45-day license suspension with school privileges, and fined $25.
ADULT HEARINGS
Child Support
Vina Moses, failure to pay child support and failure to report proof of seeking work, second contempt, was ordered: 60-day jail sentence to commence June 18, 2012; lump sum judgment $4,086.82.
Aaron Stuckey, failure to pay child support and failure to report proof of seeking work, first contempt, was ordered: 30-day jail sentence to commence June 18, 2012; lump sum judgment $923.77.
Richard Custard III, failure to pay child support and failure to report proof of seeking work, second contempt, was ordered: 60-day jail sentence to commence June 18, 2012; lump sum judgment $11,285.13.
Bench Warrants
Bench warrants issued for arrest of the following for failure to appear at a court hearing or failure to report to jail with amount of bond on each:
Denise Abrams – failure to appear in court, $6,568.15, bond.
Nicholas Craft – failure to report to jail, no bond, 60 days in jail.
Jeffrey Mowery – failure to comply with the seek work order, no bond, 30 days in jail.
